AppGate Recognized by 2015 Golden Bridge Awards for Network Security Solution Innovation
AppGate is disrupting the security space as we seek to make the visible, invisible. Today, Cryptzone is pleased to announce that we have been recognized for our new approach to security by the Annual 2015 Golden Bridge Awards® as a Network Security Solution Innovation finalist. The Golden Bridge Awards program is an industry and peer recognition program honoring best companies, products, innovations and leaders from all over the world. Winners will be honored in San Francisco on Nov. 16, 2015, during an awards dinner and presentation.
AppGate is a dynamic, context-aware security gateway that prevents unauthorized access. AppGate isolates users and services based on user-specific variables such as location, device and role to protect against unauthorized access and breaches. It replaces multiple, non-integrated cloud and on-premises products with one solution, providing centralized policy management, enforcement and compliance reporting. AppGate directly maps corporate policy to security policy—the result is an extremely intuitive configuration that can be implemented swiftly to protect against risk and achieve operational simplicity.
Mark McCue, Cryptzone’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas said:
It is a tremendous honor to be named a finalist by Golden Bridge Awards for this esteemed industry and peer recognition. This award is a testament to Cryptzone’s innovations in network security. With AppGate, Cryptzone is turning traditional network security on its head by providing a new model that eliminates the notion of the perimeter and doesn’t just assume that anyone, at any time, is a trusted user. AppGate provides a dynamic, context-aware approach to securing access to today’s perimeterless IT landscape.
Recently AppGate was shortlisted in the Network Access Control Solution of the Year category for the Computing Security Awards 2015, as well as being named a finalist in both the SC Magazine US and UK Awards for Best NAC Solution earlier this year.
