Cryptzone Joins the Cloud Security Alliance to Help Shape the Future of Secure Cloud Computing
Today, we are excited to announce that Cryptzone has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), a not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within cloud computing, and to provide education on the uses of cloud computing to help secure all other forms of computing.
Sophisticated cyberattacks are forcing enterprises to dramatically shift their thinking on how they secure their most valuable data and assets. The CSA has been at the forefront of research, not only to secure cloud computing, but to leverage the cloud to secure your entire compute infrastructure.
As part of our joint announcement, Jim Reavis, CEO of the CSA commented, “Cryptzone offers a unique, comprehensive approach to securing data across both on-premises and cloud-based networks – a model that is very typical of what we see end-users leveraging today. We look forward to their contributions to our Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) research, among other things, as we continue on CSA’s mission to promote secure computing, both in and by leveraging the cloud.”
We look forward to working with the CSA to further research into securing and leveraging compute infrastructure, and educate enterprises on how they can leverage best practices and proven models to improve their security posture now and for the future.
Our solutions complement the SDP model that the CSA has been promoting for secure cloud computing. We make what’s visible, invisible to unauthorized users to more tightly control access to networks applications and data, and mitigate the damage that can be done by external bad actors and malicious insiders. All of this is crucial to securing collaboration in the cloud.
